Griffin, GA: Southern Medical Therapeutics today announced the successful opening of a holistic wellness clinic in Griffin, GA. With its first official business day and launch of its “Marijuana Mondays” program on June 3, 2019, the clinic began offering low THC medical card services by board certified doctors.
When recent legislation allowed the production and sales of low THC oil in Georgia, co-founders Drs. Kristin Gore, MD, and James Gore, MD, DMD, MPH, saw an opportunity to better serve the community in Griffin and throughout Georgia. This launch is a major move for Southern Medical Therapeutics on its mission to provide holistic healthcare and relief to patients throughout Georgia.
Specializing in treatment plans incorporating low-dose THC oil, Southern Medical Therapeutics opened its doors on Monday, June 3, 2019. The clinic provided much-needed relief to patients suffering from pain and other symptoms associated with cancer, epilepsy, Crohn’s disease, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain conditions, and other qualifying conditions.
Low THC oil — cannabis oil containing up to 5% THC — has been legal in Georgia since 2015, with the passing of The Hope Act. With the passing of a bill allowing the production and sale of low THC oil in the state, Dr. Kristin Gore says, “I’m incredibly passionate about cannabis and its medical usages and am so excited to see this help patients in Georgia.”
