Kristin M. Gore, MD

Dr. Kristin Gore is a board certified Family Medicine physician with experience in global health/tropical medicine, urgent care, geriatric medicine, adolescent medicine, and pediatrics. Dr. Gore received her Associate of Science in Biology from Gordon College in 2001 and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Chemistry from Augusta State University in 2003. She went to medical school at The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and graduated in 2008. She then completed a Family Medicine/Global Health residency at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC in 2012. She also obtained an International Medicine and Public Health Diploma in 2014. Dr. Gore has worked at Family Medical Center in Griffin since 2001. Her areas of interest are mental health, tropical/travel medicine, ADD/ADHD, and diabetes management. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She resides in Griffin and enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.
In addition to traditional medicine, Dr. Gore graduated from Oaksterdam University in August 2019, is a member of American Medical Marijuana Physicians Association and has completed multiple intensive courses in the field of cannabis, including many courses from The Medical Cannabis Institute.

James R. Gore, Jr., MD, DMD, MPH
Dr. James Gore, Jr. is the owner of Family Medical Center and Internal Medical Center and has been practicing medicine for over 32 years. He initially went to dental school and became a dentist in 1982. Dr. Gore furthered his education and received his medical degree from University of Florida in 1986. He served and practiced medicine in the United States Navy in San Diego, California before relocating to his hometown of Griffin, GA in 1992. His fields of interest include occupational medicine, orthopedics and autoimmune disorders. He is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration and is also a Certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Department of Transportation. He has participated in numerous medical mission trips over the years serving as both a dentist and physician. He resides in Griffin, Georgia with his wife Kathy and enjoys cattle farming, flying, and spending time with his grandchildren.
